SaltSanity.com is your guide to living and loving your low sodium life. Based on Danielle Turner’s personal experience transitioning her family to a low sodium diet, Salt Sanity helps readers navigate the low so journey, offering tips, recipes and low sodium product recommendations.

Cooking Clarified is a website dedicated to teaching the ABCs of cooking thru cooking tips, tools, techniques and recipes that make cooking simple.

Recipe Development, Testing & Editing

Danielle has developed original recipes for her personal chef clients to meet their specific dietary needs and tastes. In addition she has developed original recipes for Kitchen Consultants, Mrs. T’s Pierogies, Patch.com, The Baltimore Sun, and the Prince George’s Gazette. She develops all recipes and content for her two food websites, CookingClarified.com and SaltSanity.com and was the recipe tester for more than 90 recipes included in Made With Love: The Meals on Wheels Family Cookbook.

Freelance Food Writing

Danielle Turner has penned freelance articles for numerous publications including the MICHELIN Guide website, The Food Network Holiday Survival Guide, The Food Network Summer Grilling Guide, DC Metro + Magazine, The Daily Meal, and many more. You can read samples of her writing here.

Food Styling

Danielle Turner has more than 15 years experiences as a freelance food stylist. In addition to styling photos and sets for her two food websites, Danielle has worked as a freelance food stylist for the Food Network and styled more than 100 photos for Made With Love: The Meals on Wheels Family Cookbook. She was the food stylist for Seasons 1 and 2 of the PBS cooking show Pati’s Mexican Table and has styled numerous sets for satellite media tours and live and recorded television appearances. We provide recipe editing services for Schnucks, family-owned supermarket retailer with 100 stores in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin, ensuring all recipes in their bi-monthly Nourish magazine meet their editorial guidelines.

The 369th Experience is a nonprofit organization dedicated to acknowledging, educating and preserving the legacy of Lieutenant James Reese Europe, Second Lieutenant Noble Sissle, and The 369th Infantry Regiment, also known as The Harlem Hellfighters. We work outside the world of food for this client to provide editorial and administrative services including copywriting, grant writing, project management, website updating, and database management.
